Hello world. My name is Mie. I am currently living in two cities in two countries – Singapore and Japan. I am new to blogging, yet I am excited to share my journey with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Life can get simpler as we grow older.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When we were younger in our life journey, we tend to pick up and carry many stuff. We were stronger then, and we could carry the weight. Sometimes we get burnout, and sometimes we get too tired to get up. But overall, we could still move forward. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then, we get older….or some would prefer to say, mature. As we get tired more easily, need more rest in between, and we need to stretch our arms further to read, we come to realize what\u2019s ahead of us in life is less than what we left behind. We learn to savor here and now, because that\u2019s all we can handle. We learn to declutter and to live simply. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We can grow stronger as we learn through mistakes, detours, challenges and disappointments in life. We grow like linen, that, when well-used and repeatedly washed over time, gets softer yet stronger. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
So this is my journey towards life that is simpler and stronger, like linen. Simple+Linen=SimpLin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
